Welcome to FANTASY, a family-run restaurant and B & B that opened its doors in July 2006, and is located near the picturesque centre of Lipník nad Bečvou, a medieval town in the Olomouc region.
Treat yourself to lunch or dinner at our cosy restaurant which offers a pleasant and quiet atmosphere and a menu with a vast array of mouth-watering national and international dishes at a reasonable price. Surrounded by a stylish décor, you will be served by our friendly multilingual staff who will be happy to recommend dishes if you cannot decide what to order. Gourmets will be able to taunt their taste-buds with our chef’s specialities like meat or chocolate fondue and Chateaubriand. Steak-lovers can rest assured that they will find their favourites amongst the various steak-dishes that feature in our menu. Vegetarians or those who are not in the mood for meat will also have a wide selection of succulent dishes to choose from, and can compose their own salad by helping themselves to the salad bar which always boasts fresh produce. Those with a sweet-tooth will delight in our irresistible selection of desserts which includes ice-creams, pancakes, cakes and other delicacies. Beer-fans can enjoy an extra-cold pint of Pilsner or Gambrinus beer all-year-round. If you would like to try something different, why not try the town of Lipník’s own beer, brewed with yeast according to an old traditional local recipe? Both wine connoisseurs and amateurs will delight in our large selection of Moravian wines. Our menu also offers various classic and non-alcoholic cocktails that will light up smiles on your faces.
If you prefer a more discreet ambience, you can sit at a table in our homely twenty-seat lounge which features a widescreen plasma television and a charming decoration. Our terrace is open during the summer, so you can come, sit and relax in the sun with the fountain’s soft rustling while sipping on refreshments and savouring our sizzling barbecues, grilled to your taste in front of your very eyes. You can choose between steaks, sausages, chicken wings, spare ribs, grilled pork knee (a Czech speciality) or grilled vegetables and mozzarella.
Note that the restaurant is adapted for wheelchair users, that you can park in our private car-park right in front of the entrance, and that wireless internet access (Wi-Fi) is provided free of charge throughout our premises.
Our menu of the day is served Monday to Friday from 11 am until 2 pm.

A peek into Lipník nad Bečvou
Lipník is a historic town that was founded in the mid-thirteenth century and declared an urban conservation area in 1989. It lies in the Moravian Gate valley, on the right bank of the Bečva river, about two miles away from Helfštýn Castle, one of the best preserved castles in the Czech Republic. Lipník is not only renowned for its rich cultural history and natural beauty, but also for its preserved historic landmarks. Indeed, the picturesque town centre features a renaissance town hall, houses with archways and a baroque fountain, while the town walls’ ruins are amongst the best preserved ones in Moravia. The magnificent 1609 bell-tower and sundial clock of Saint James’s Parish Church that can be seen from our restaurant add to the town’s charm. Lipník also has several tourist attractions and interesting sights, including five chapels, a Piarist Monastery, two churches, a Mansion House and a natural reserve. It is also home to the second oldest synagogue of the Czech Republic and to two Jewish cemeteries, the vestiges of a Jewish community.
